Chaired by:
Susan Evans, School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong
Luisa Huaccho Huatuco, School for Business and Society, University of York, UK
This 90-minute in-person workshop applies the Sustainable Circular Transformation SCT framework to address How can the SCT framework contribute to designing regenerative manufacturing for alternative, just, and equitable futures of sustainability? The workshop provides an opportunity for design and manufacturing researchers and practitioners to discuss, in an interactive manner, the different elements of the SCT framework and understand the potential ways in which regenerative manufacturing can influence the future of research, practice and policy.
Participants engage, through small groups, in co-designing techniques, prototype evolution, and participatory engagement to foster innovative dialogue, critical reflection and coproduction. Each small group builds towards the coproduction process, inviting different perspectives and inspiration for dialogue, critical reflection and shared understandings.
